Potential Reimbursement for Storm Damage

If you have storm damage, your information is needed.

Conway officials are presently working with State and Federal emergency personnel to assess hurricane damage in Town.  While there is no guarantee of reimbursement for any damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene, it is necessary to gather information about damage or loss of property in case there is financial assistance made available by State or Federal agencies.

STEP 1:  Go HERE to report your damage information to FEMA.  You may be eligible for grants or loans.

STEP 2:  Complete and submit the following form:  Storm Damage Form
It is important to respond to this request as soon as possible.  MEMA will use this information to assess overall damage and determine what can be done for Conway if funding does become available.

Private non-profit organizations may be eligible to receive Federal reimbursement for their expenses. In order for a private non-profit to be eligible for reimbursement, it must be performing an essential government service and have incurred a minimum of $1,000 in eligible expenses. To assist in identifying an eligible private non-profit, please refer to the FEMA website at www.fema.gov or contact the MEMA Disaster Recovery Department at (508) 820-2004.

Also, please note that funding for damage caused by the storm is available to income-eligible residents from the Franklin County Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA). Call Charity Day at (413) 863-9781 x-150 for details.

Residents are strongly encouraged to check back to this page to see updated information on storm related issues.

Thank you for your input and assistance.
